About Credo

CREDO is a 9-minute original screen musical in which God, realizing "Thou shalt not kill" has never worked, takes responsibility for setting a bad example and withdraws all endorsement of murder.

CREDO blends opera, cinema, humor, and verse in a response to those who use religion to justify violence.

CREDO may not make any difference at all, but at least we said what we thought needed saying.

The end credits include the line "There was no lip-synching in this film." This is a point of pride for us, as almost all screen musicals rely on lip-synching. The vocal parts to CREDO were recorded live, on-set, with no accompaniment. Layers of music, sound effects, and foley were created later, all inspired by the performance.

We hope you enjoy CREDO.
